FIRE RATED SHUTTERS 2018-01-10T17:03:27+00:00

Euroll UK fire rated roller shutters are manufactured from galvanized steel strips to provide a high level of protection against burglary and vandalism. They have been specifically tested and rated to withstand fire for up to 4 hours, providing an effective barrier to protect lives and property.

Fire rated shutters are designed to close automatically under fire conditions to maintain the integrity of internal compartment walls. Various activation methods can be employed, including a fusible link, which activates the shutter when the surrounding temperature reaches ≈70oC. Alternatively the shutter motor control can be linked to the building fire alarm system via a 24 volt solenoid release. In this situation, a fusible can be added as a backup.

All our fire rated shutters are tested in accordance with BS476: part 22: 1987 and conform to the current legislation relating to fire controlled access.
